In the Beginning there was Design

Look around yourself right now. What do you see? Perhaps a chair or a window,  maybe something as simple as a power cord plugged into your wall. Someone conceived those things and designed them. Designers of some type or another create nearly every single thing that surrounds us. The creative mind is the vessel to progress or digression. From the rambling tangents of social networking architecture, to the construction of a small bridge that brings your shoes safely across the trickle of a rivulet in the park, design is all around you. It represents the brilliance and vapidity, the adjudication and apathy, the beginning and the end of a world we have erected to surround us.
